SolKissed Swimwear is all you need for your next beach vacay — or at least, that’s what founder Alejandra Boggiano intended with her fresh, flirty designs. Born in Peru and a current resident of New York City (by way of California), Boggiano launched her line of bikini tops, bikini bottoms, one piece swimsuits, jewelry and beach wear in 2012, after taking classes at NYC’s famed Fashion Institute of Technology. Armed at first with only a sewing machine given to her by a friend and her own determination, Boggiano has crafted swimsuits that toe the line between flirty and flattering, with a heaping dose of Peruvian charm and California cool to boot. SolKissed swimwear skyrocketed to popularity, and Boggiano hasn’t looked back since.
